Bridgwater Grasshoppers Squad, 2009-10 Season |
|
From the beginning of the 2009-10 campaign Bridgwater Grasshoppers FC has two teams again. However, rather than field a first and reserves side on the same day like most two-team clubs do, we have instead taken a different approach and run separate Saturday and Sunday outfits.
The Saturday side, a newly created team of predominantly younger player, operates in Division 4 of the Taunton and District Saturday Football League and is still a work in progress.
The Sunday team plays in Division 2 of the Uxella Bridgwater and District Sunday League and is more established, having been formed with the resurrection of the club back in 2004, and benefitting from having a number of campaigns under their belt which has resulted in the perfect blend of youth and experience. |
